Bye-Week / Injury Roster Spots
Owners that need to purchase players to temporarily fill a roster spot for a player on a bye or injured shall register for Bye-Week / Injury Auction. Seating for round table auction shall be determined by current total score. Lowest score gets seat #1 and so on. Owners shall nominate players for auction beginning with seat #1 and going around clockwise to the final seat then back the opposite direction and so on. The owner that nominates a player shall declare their starting bid for that player and must purchase that player for that amount if no other owner makes a higher bid on that player. Starting bid must be at least $1 and additional bids must be at least $1 higher. There is a $2 limit per raise of the price bid. Bidding shall go around the table in a direction determined by the nominating owner. Any owner that passes on a chance to bid on a player forfeits the right bid on that player. Bidding shall continue around the table until all owners have passed. Player will be purchased by highest bidder. A player purchased for injury or bye-week replacement purposes may be kept on the roster by releasing the player that was replaced for that week prior to the next meeting beginning. Otherwise the player is automatically available for that week’s auction. As soon as a player is released, even during a weekly auction, that player may be nominated for purchase.
